About NFBPA
The National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1983, is the premier organization dedicated to the advancement and professional development of Black public leadership in local and state governments. Established in 1997, our San Antonio Chapter is a dynamic network of professionals committed to excellence in public service and governance.
OUR MISSION is to serve as a catalyst for linking public and private organizations, as well as academic institutions to support the professional development of individuals choosing public service careers.

Our VisionOur vision is to be the foremost catalyst for empowering Black public administrators, fostering a culture of inclusive leadership, and driving transformative change within public institutions. We envision a future where Black leaders are recognized and celebrated for their contributions to public service and where equitable practices are the standard in all areas of governance. Through our efforts, we aim to build a legacy of excellence, inspire future generations of public servants, and create communities that thrive on justice, opportunity, and mutual respect.
